Russian Jews pray for Ariel Sharon`s recovery
"Russian Jews pray for recovery of Israeli premier-minister Ariel Sharon - one of the brightest representatives of legendary generation, who bore the challenges and difficulties of Jewish state`s revival on Sacred earth", - announced the head rabbi of Russia Adolf Shaevich.
The statement of Shaevich was received from Congress of Jewish religious communities and organizations of Russia (CJRCOR) and Moscow Jewish religious community (MJRC).
"Ariel Sharon deserved the place in modern Jewish history for his talent as the commander, who saved Israel during War of Doomsday, for wisdom of political leader, who demonstrated firmness of purpose in realization of difficult peaceful decisions. Along with Jews from all over the world we hope for better and offer up the prayer "Mi shebeirah".
